Greeting

We have been strictly producing and protecting Uji green tea for the 150 years since we were founded in 1861,
and we also have been adapting to the modern diversified food culture of Japan at the same time to continue providing authentic tea flavor the entire time.
We believe that we may always find tea present when people interact and deepen their relationships,
and we want to be a part of those precious moments of interaction as we adhere to tradition.
We will devote our passion to always creating our high quality tea that’s both faithful to tradition and flexible to the needs of new generations at the same time.
Thank you for your patronage and we hope we will keep satisfying your expectations.

Toshiyuki Kitagawa, the 6th head of our family
